The first vintage was from the 1983 harvest, and since then, this wine has been made only in the very best vintages. Since 2013, the elegance of the Sangiovese grape has partly given way to Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. These grapes were planted a full 150 years ago and today make this red Mormoreto even fuller and more powerful.
